Commissioning the system

Tip: It is recommended that the Lizzox Pure Flood is first placed into operation in the office before moving the measurement system to the place of use. During this process, you should set up a site for subsequent operation on the myDatanet server (seeCreating the site) and determine a site setting (see Site configuration). Take the opportunity to get to know the functions of the device in a stable environment. You can also use suitable test signals to simulate the sensors to establish the optimum configuration of the Lizzox Pure Flood prior to its actual first use. This reduces the amount of time required for on-site installation to a minimum.

The following work should be completed in the office before you go to the future location of the device:

  1. If necessary, create a customer on the myDatanet server (see "myDatanet Server Manual " 805002).
  2. Within the desired customer, create a new site/application for operation of the Lizzox Pure Flood on the myDatanet server (see Creating the site).
  3. Configure the created site/application according to your requirements (see Site configuration).

The following settings should be adjusted if sensors with Modbus interface are used:

    1. If already known, enter the intended installation height of the sensors in the relevant input fields (see Sub Level settings).

The following settings should be completed if sensors with mA output are used:

    1. If already known, enter the intended installation height of the sensors in the relevant input fields (see Sub Level settings).
    2. Ensure that the parameters "Offset" and "trimming" are set to 0 (see Universal channel)
  4. If the Lizzox Pure Flood should remain deactivated up to the installation on site, select "Deactivated" in the title bar of the configuration section "Measurement system" (see Measurement system).
  5. Trigger a transmission using the solenoid switch (see Solenoid switch). The status LED should then start to flicker (see Status LED), indicating that a connection is being established. During this connection the configuration of the site is transmitted to the Lizzox Pure Flood .
Tip: If the measurement system is set to "Activated" in the title bar of the configuration section "Measurement system", Lizzox Pure Flood switches to "active" mode as soon as the connection to the myDatanet server has been established. Lizzox Pure Flood will resume operation according to configuration.
Tip: You can also skip this step, as a transmission must also be triggered during installation on site, which transfers the configuration settings to the Lizzox Pure Flood at that time.
  6. The following tasks are to be completed directly at the operation site of the device:
  7. Set the sensors in their final mounting position.
  8. Follow all the steps described in chapter Connecting the sensors.
  9. Unless you have already done so in the office, enter the mounting heights of the sensors in the relevant fields (see Sub Level settings).
  10. Ensure that the measurement system is set to "Activated" in the title bar of the configuration section "Measurement system" (see Measurement system).
  11. Trigger a transmission using the solenoid switch to transfer the site configurations to the Lizzox Pure Flood (see Solenoid switch).
  12. Check whether the connection to the myDatanet server has worked correctly (see Testing communication with the device).
