Powered by primary battery

This supply concept is distinguished by the least installation effort. It is limited to installing the device (see Installing the myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX ), connecting the earthing connection of the myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX with the ground potential (see Connection of the sensors and power supply) and earthing all metallic mounting fixtures in a suitable manner. The disadvantage is that the power supply unit equipped with a primary battery has to be cyclically (depending on the transmission and measurement interval) changed.

The myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX may only be operated in areas with a zone 2 explosive atmosphere. The sensors however may be operated in areas with a zone 0, zone 1 or zone 2 explosive atmosphere, provided they are approved for the relevant zone. As each of the two universal inputs has its own independent zener barrier, the senors with mA interface may also be operated in different zones.
