Specific safety instructions
Attention: Never use this device in areas where the use of wireless equipment is prohibited. The
device must not be used in hospitals and/or in the vicinity of medical equipment, such as
heart pacemakers or hearing aids, as their functionality could be compromised by the wireless module
contained in the device.
Danger: Particular
caution is required when working above or near water. There is a risk of drowning if you
fall into the water. Always wear a life jacket or other suitable flotation device and
check it carefully before use. Never work alone above or near water.
Caution: The device emits short pulses of electromagnetic waves (radar) with very
low transmission power at intervals of 10 sec. from the bottom. The effective range is limited by
the radiation angle and the range specified in chapter Specifications. Although the health risk
is considered minimal, it is advisable to avoid a prolonged direct exposure. This applies
in particular to vulnerable or highly sensitive individuals.
