Device labelling
The specifications in this user manual apply exclusively to the VEL‑R‑5 device type. The type plates are located on top and on the sides of the device and contain the following specifications:
- Name and address of the manufacturer
- Environmental conditions during operation
- Protection class
- Logo for the EU WEEE Directive
- CE marking
- Marking of the top side (only relevant for inclined installation)
- Ex protection designation as specified in chapter Declaration of conformity
- Product name
- Type key
- Item number
- Week and year of production
- Product revision
- Serial number
Type plates VEL‑R‑5
The correct specification of the type designation and serial number is important for all queries and spare part orders. Only then can we process requests promptly and properly.
Note: These operating instructions are part of the device and must be available to
the user at all times. The safety instructions contained therein must be observed.
Attention: It is strictly prohibited to disable the safety equipment or modify its mode
of operation.
