Replacing the battery

The capacity of the installed battery is designed for a max. service life of 6 years. In the event of unfavourable environmental conditions (e.g. low temperatures), it may occur that the battery capacity is depleted before this period of time has elapsed. To replace the battery, the PRE-PT-D30 must be sent back to the manufacturer in the original packaging (see Repair & return).
