Measurement method

The PRE-PT-D30 uses a piezoresistive sensor with integrated temperature measurement to determine the pressure. The diaphragm of the sensor is in direct contact with the medium being measured. The measured medium temperature is used to compensate for temperature-related effects on the pressure measurement. The pressure reading provided by the PRE-PT-D30 therefore already corresponds to the temperature-compensated pressure.
