Installing directly in a water pipe

Note: The PRE-PT-D30 must be fitted with the process connection pointing upwards. This allows any air enclosed during installation to escape upwards.

Install directly in the water pipe

1) The PRE-PT-D30 is designed with a G 1/4 male process connection in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1179-2 . The process adapter must be designed with a corresponding G 1/4 female connection in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1179-2 .

  1. Screw the process adapter into the process connection on the pipework.
    Note: If necessary, you may need to roughen the thread of the process adapter and wrap it with sealing thread before screwing it into the process connection.

  2. Screw the PRE-PT-D30 into the process adapter. The PRE-PT-D30 has a seal, therefore no additional sealing thread is required.
