Unauthorised use

Note: The following describes the types of use of the device that are not permitted. This is not a complete list, but rather a list of reasonably foreseeable misuse. Only the use specified in chapters Intended use, Type of use and Field of application is permitted. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage or consequential damage resulting from unauthorised use. The risk is borne solely by the operator.

  • The device must not be exposed to direct sunlight or direct weather influences (rain, snow, ...).
  • The device must not be installed in locations that are permanently flooded.
  • The unit must not be fitted upside down or at an angle to the side. The process connection must always point upwards.
  • The device must not be installed in the immediate vicinity of walls. A distance of at least 20 cm from walls or other large objects must be maintained.
  • The device must only be tightened using the hexagon socket on the process connection. A suitable open-ended spanner must be used for this purpose. The device must not be tightened by gripping the housing.
  • The device must not be used in water supply networks where the sensor is required to be certified for drinking water.
