List of determined measurement values
Sensor values
The following measurement values are recorded via the Modbus client interface (RS485) and the 2 universal inputs. Depending on the sensor type (distance or pressure) selected during configuration, the measured value is interpreted either as a distance value in metres or as a pressure value in bar.
Calculated level values
The following level values are calculated from the sensor values, taking the mounting height into account:
If "Absolute pressure compensated" mode is selected in the configuration, two pressure sensors are required to calculate the level. Both the atmospheric pressure and the pressure within the medium are required.
A threshold value can be set to determine which sub level should be used for the respective section of the level range to be measured. This allows you to combine the advantages of both measurement methods when using a hydrostatic sensor in conjunction with a radar sensor. If the sensor used for the active sub level fails, the system automatically switches to the other sub level, regardless of the threshold value. As both sub levels are continuously recorded in parallel, there is no interruption to the recorded main water level data.
Internal measurement values
In addition to the measurement values provided by the external sensors and the calculated level values, the following internal measurement values are determined:
