"Guided commissioning" input screen

This input screen is opened by clicking on the button that indicates the current status of the measurement system. The button is located on the right side of the title bar in the "Measurement System" configuration section of the site.

For the guided commissioning process an active connection between the Jellox Pulse and the myDatanet server is required. Therefore, you are first prompted to initiate a transfer by pressing the magnetic switch for at least 3 seconds (see Reed switch). After that, the list of components to be configured is displayed. Should an update be required for the firmware or the IoT application, this will be carried out immediately after the connection has been established. In this case, the input screen displays a corresponding message until the update is complete. Only then will the list of components that need to be configured be displayed. This list contains one entry for the measurement systemand one entry for each remote sensor module linked to a measurement channel.

Once the guided commissioning process has been initiated and the connection has been established, the Jellox Pulse will remain connected to the myDatanet server for 10 minutes. Once the timeout has expired or when the commissioning process is complete, the online connection between the Jellox Pulse and the myDatanet server is terminated.

Note: Only active inputs are displayed in the list of components to be configured. The inputs can be activated by selecting the "Mode" via the input window "Channel settings" (see Input in "Digital" mode or Inputs in "Counter" mode).

List of components to be configured

1 Opens the wizard for the basic configuration of the measurement system
2 Opens the wizard to configure an input operated in "Digital" mode
3 Opens the wizard to configure an input operated in "Counter" mode
4 Opens the wizard to configure a remote sensor module of type PRE-PT-D30
5 Opens the wizard to complete the commissioning process

Recommended procedure

Note: Not every component needs to be configured immediately. For example, if you do not wish to use one of the inputs at this time, you can configure it later via the "Input in "Digital" mode" (see Input in "Digital" mode) or "Input in "Counter" mode" (see Inputs in "Counter" mode) input window or restart the guided commissioning process.

  1. To configure the individual components, open the relevant wizards one by one.
  2. Follow the instructions in the wizards.

    When clicking on "Next", the entries made in the current step are saved immediately.

  3. Open the wizard to complete the commissioning process.
