The composed system is a compact, portable measurement system for recording and transferring analogue or digital signals. It consists of a data logger (see Suitable data loggers) with installed IoT application "myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX". To simplify matters, the measurement system will be referred to as "myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX " hereinafter. Depending on the power supply unit used, the myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX can also operate without mains power. The device is equipped with 2 universal inputs that can be operated in various analogue and digital modes. Since each of the universal inputs has it's own, independent zener barrier, the sensors may also be placed in different Ex zones (zone 0, zone 1 or zone 2). The measurement system itself is only designed for Ex zone 2. In addition, the myDatalogEASY IoT ATEX disposes of internal sensors (housing internal temperature and air humidity) as well as a switchable and configurable voltage output for the sensor supply. To save energy, the voltage output can be configured so that it is only activated briefly before and during a measurement. This is done via the input mask for configuring the output channels (see Output channels). The output voltage (5...24 V ) is equally selected in this input mask. For selected sensors the suitable values are already preset, so that the connected sensor can simply be selected from a dropdown list. All of the input measurement data and the status of the output are temporarily saved to an internal data memory and wirelessly transferred to a central location at a freely selected interval. The device is also configured via this connection. The device is equipped with an integrated SIM chip.
