General product information
The composed system is a compact, stationary measurement system that can be used for control and regulating tasks in addition to recoding and transferring analogue and digital signals. It is composed of a data logger (see Suitable data loggers) with installed IoT application "myDataconC3+", an input extension (myDatalogC3e 12UI/2Rel ) and an output extension (myDatalogC3e 3mA/6Rel ). The extensions are optional. I.e. only one or none of the extensions can be used. The communication between the data logger and the extensions takes place via CAN interface, whereas the total length of the CAN bus must not exceed 20 m . To simplify matters, the measurement system will be referred to as "myDataconC3+ ". The myDataconC3+ requires a constant energy supply. However, the data logger has an integrated rechargeable buffer battery which allows sending a notification in the event of a voltage supply failure (see Technical details about the integrated rechargeable buffer battery).
The following interfaces are available for recording measurement data:
- 3 universal inputs on the data logger that can be operated in different analogue or digital modes,
- 12 universal inputs on the input extension that can be operated in different analogue or digital modes.
Furthermore the following outputs are available for control and regulating tasks, of which the setpoints can be determined wirelessly from a central point:
- 2 x relay on the data logger
- 2 x relay on the input extension
- 6 x relay on the output extension (2 groups for different potentials)
- 3 x analogue output (active, galvanically seprated) on the output extension
The measurment data of the input are determined in an adjustable interval (see Basic settings) and together with the states of the outputs thy are temporarily stored in an internal data memory. As the default connection type for myDataconC3+ is "online" mode, the recorded data is immediately transmitted wirelessly to the myDatanet server. If the alternative connection type "interval" is used, the recorded data is transmitted to the myDatanet server in a freely selectable interval. In both cases this connection is also used to transfer the configurations to the measurement system. For this purpose, the measurement system has an integrated SIM chip. To manage and display the transferred data, the central myDatanet server offers various possibilities. Further information is provded in the user manual of the server ("myDatanet Server Manual " 805002). The measurement system is also configured via the interface of the relevant myDatanet server.
