Wall mounting in detail
For installation on a wall, the optional accessory "Wall bracket 45° positive (400418) " is required.
Installation on the wall using Wall bracket 45° positive
| 1 | Sensor mount (wall/ceiling mounting) | 4 | Hanger bolt |
| 2 | Flow velocity sensor | 5 | Nut for locking in position |
| 3 | Level sensor | 6 | Nut for adjusting alignment |
- Drill three holes with a diameter of 12 mm and a min. depth of 70 mm at the positions
shown in the illustration Hanger bolts
installed in the wall. To
determine the positions for the drill holes, you can also hold the sensor mount against
the wall and transfer the holes.
Note: The two upper drill holes must be aligned horizontally, as it is not possible to adjust the sensor bracket around the longitudinal axis afterwards. If necessary, use a spirit level to ensure that the drill holes are aligned horizontally.
- Insert a wall plug (included in the scope of supply of the wall mounting bracket) into each of the drill holes. Then screw the hanger bolts (also included in the scope of supply) into the wall plugs.
- Attach the sensor bracket to the hanger bolts installed in the wall using the nuts
supplied with the wall bracket. The sensor bracket is
clamped between two nuts. This mounting method allows the sensor bracket to be adjusted
in all directions.
Attaching the sensor mount to the hanger bolts
1 Sensor mount (wall/ceiling mounting) 3 Nut for adjusting alignment M10 (included in the scope of supply of the wall mounting bracket) 2 Nut for locking in position M10 (included in the scope of supply of the wall mounting bracket) 4 Hanger bolt - Insert the VEL‑R‑5 into the flow velocity sensor holder and align it correctly.
