Installing the VEL‑R‑5
Important:
- Ensure installation is completed correctly.
- Comply with existing legal and/or operational directives.
- Improper handling can cause injuries and/or damage to the devices.
- The VEL‑R‑5 is not suitable for outdoor use.
- When using metal mounting components, these must be integrated into the grounding concept in a suitable manner.
The installation site must be selected according to specific criteria. The following conditions must be avoided in any case:
- Direct sunlight
- Direct weather exposure (rain, snow, etc.)
- Objects that radiate intense heat (maximum ambient temperature: -10...+70 °C )
- Objects with a strong electromagnetic field (frequency converter or similar)
- Corrosive chemicals
- Mechanical impacts
- Direct installation on paths or roads
- Vibrations
- Radioactive emissions
