Replacing the battery

Important: Only the manufacturer is permitted to open the housing to carry out maintenance work, which must only be completed outside the Ex area.

The capacity of the installed battery is designed for a max. service life of 10 years. In the event of unfavourable environmental conditions (e.g. low temperatures), it may occur that the battery capacity is depleted before this period of time has elapsed. To replace the battery, the BLE Radar must be sent back to the manufacturer in the original packaging (see Repair & return).
