The device is a compact, portable measurement device used to determine levels of fresh, dirty or grey water by means of a non-contact measurement using a radar sensor. For the supply of the integrated logic (Radio module, controller and radar sensor), the BLE Radar is equipped with an internal battery. The capacity of the built-in battery is designed for a max. life span of 10 years. Since the communication between BLE Radar and the compatible data logger also takes place via local radio connection, no on-site cabling is required. In addition to the water level (mounting height and trimming taken into account), the distance to the surface of the water is determined. The water level and distance are measured every 10 sec. and can be read out via local radio connection and recorded by means of a data logger. A data logger can also be paired with the BLE Radar (pairing). In this case, determining the water level, the distance, the status of the distance and the amplitude must be triggered by the data logger. Irrespective of this, the "temperature of the electronics" and the "battery voltage" are determined once per minute and the "estimated remaining term" is recalculated every 24 hours when paired. Measurement values generated in this way can then be read out and can be recorded using the data logger. A list of compatible data loggers is provided in the chapter Compatible data loggers. By means of a compatible data logger, the desired values for the mouning height and trimming can also be transmitted to the BLE Radar .
