Can devices from the Microtronics ecosystem also transmit data directly to platforms of other companies?

No.

Data exchange between the devices and the platform is encrypted. It is not possible to transfer the data directly to third-party systems. However, third-party systems such as customised front ends or SCADA systems can be connected via the REST API or the OPC UA interface of the platform and thus access the data supplied by the devices (see Microtronics ecosystem).
