Installing the Lizzox Pure Flood
Important:
- Ensure installation is completed correctly.
- Comply with existing legal and/or operational directives.
- Improper handling can cause injuries and/or damage to the instruments.
- The Lizzox Pure Flood must not be operated in the field with the terminal compartment covers open.
- The pressure compensation must be protected from contamination.
- The Lizzox Pure Flood is not authorised for use in closed ducts.
- To ensure the housing is properly sealed, each of the cable glands must only hold a single cable.
Note: It is recommended that all metal mounting fixtures be properly earthed.
The installation site must be selected according to specific criteria. The following conditions must be avoided in any case:
- Objects that radiate intense heat (maximum ambient temperature: -30...+58 °C )
- Objects with a strong electromagnetic field (frequency converter or similar)
- Corrosive chemicals or gases
- Mechanical impacts
- Direct installation on paths or roads
- Vibrations
- Radioactive emissions
Tip: If the cable glands are fitted to the terminal compartment cover on the
bottom, approx. 15 cm of space must be left beneath the device for the cable connections.
If the cable glands are fitted to the terminal compartment cover on the rear, approx. 15
cm of space must be left behind the device for the cable connections. Further information
