Installation on a bridge
Note: Seek approval from the responsible authority before installing on public facilities such as bridges.
The optional "Mounting bracket (400444)" accessories are required for assembly on a bridge.

- When the "Mounting bracket (400444)" assembly set is supplied, the side panels are mounted on the retaining bracket for the Lizzox Pure Flood . Loosen the M4 hex socket screws to remove the side panels (see Installation on a bridge - step 1).
- Then fasten the retaining bracket on the Lizzox Pure Flood using the M6x12 rounded head screw included in the equipment set (see Installation on a bridge - step 2).
- Place the retaining bracket with mounted Lizzox Pure Flood on the console mount.
- Connect the retaining bracket including the attached Lizzox Pure Flood
to the console mount. For this purpose, use the M6x16 truss-head screws, 6.4 lining disc and M6 hexagonal nuts included in the equipment set (see Assembly on a bridge -
step 3 and Assembly on a bridge -
step 4).
Note: When installing the retaining bracket on the console mount, ensure that the PV module is facing towards the south when the console mount is installed on the bridge.
- The retaining bracket and console mount have an opening to hold an ultrasonic or radar sensor (see Assembly on a bridge - step 4). If you want to use a corresponding sensor, insert it in the opening before you assemble the side panels again (see Installation on a bridge - step 5).
- Installing the console mount on a bridge:
Note: The console mount has two openings (see Assembly on a bridge - step 3) so that it can be held in place with tension belts during assembly on the bridge. Depending on the local conditions, it may be advisable to install the bracket on the bridge first, before attaching the retaining bracket to the console mount. In other words, before carrying out step 3.
- Place the console mount into position.
- Drill six holes with a diameter of 12 mm for the armature bars.
- Clean the drill holes.
- Insert the resin capsules included in the equipment set in to the drill holes.
- Insert the armature bars using an impact drill or hammer drill until there is a slight discharge of the resin capsule liquid at the sides of the drill hole.
- Wait for the curing time to pass
Temperature in the anchoring base Curing time - 5°C...0°C 240 min. 0°C...+10°C 45 min. +10°C...+20°C 20 min. >= +20°C 10 min. Note: The curing times must be doubled in wet concrete. Any stagnant water must be removed from drill holes. - Attach the console mount with the M10 hexagonal nuts (see Installation on a bridge - step 6).
