General product information

The Jellox Node is a compact, battery operated, stationary measurement device designed for recording and transmitting measurement values that are provided by remote sensor modules. Information about measurement range, resolution, precision, measurement method and capacity of the intstalled battery is provided in the user manual of the respective sensor module. Communication between the sensor module and the Jellox Node is realised via local radio connection. Depending on the ambient conditions, the bridgeable distance can be up to 20 m . In addition to the primary measurement value (i.e. level with installation height and trimming taken into account), up to 3 secondary measurement values (e.g. distance to the surface, amplitude and temperature of the electronics) and the internal measurement values "Battery", "Battery life" (remaining days until the next battery replacement), "Flags" (sensor status) and "RSSI" (local radio signal strength) are determined for the sensor modules. Furthermore the internal measurement values "SOC" (State of Charge), "Battery", "Int. Temp", "rH" (humidity inside the housing), "GSM" (mobile network signal strength), "Service" (remaining days until the next battery replacement) and "Load" (energy cosumption between two recordings) of the Jellox Node are determined.

The measurement data of the remote sensor module is determined at an interval of 10 sec. (to monitor the conditions under which a "Smart Action" is triggered) and can be recorded in the internal data memory at an adjustable interval (see Device settings ).

The recorded data can be read out locally via radio connection or, in a freely selectable interval, transmitted automatically to a central myDatanet server via mobile network connection. The device is equipped with an integrated SIM chip for this purpose. This To read out the data locally via radio connection and to simultaneously forward it to a central myDatanet server, the "OnSite Companion" smartphone app (see OnSite Companion) can be used. The myDatanet server provides a variety of options for managing and displaying the data. More information is provided in the server manual ("myDatanet Server Manual " 805002). The device is configured via the interface of the relevant myDatanet server. If the level falls below or exceeds a defined value (applicable for the primary measurement value and the internal measurement values provided by the remote sensor module only), regardless of the transmission cycle that is currently set, the "Smart Actions" can be used to initiate an immediate transmission, to start an immediate recording, to trigger a warning or an alarm, to switch to an alternative transmission interval or to activate an alternative transmission interval (see Edit Smart Action).

The Jellox Node has a 1,5" OLED display to show the current measurement values and various status information (e.g. remaining days until the next battery replacement of the sensor module). The display is activated via reed switch. Detailed information on this is provided in chapter Display.
