Remote measurement channels

For each of the sensor modules linked to one of the remote measurement channels of the Jellox Analog , the following measurment values are determined:

Primary measurement value

e.g. Level (mounting height and trimming taken into consideration) for sensor modules of type "LVL-R-5"

Secondary measurement value 1 - 3

e.g. "Distance to surface", "Amplitude (energy received for the distance determined)" and "Temperature of the electronics" for sensor modules of type "LVL-R-5"

Battery [mV]

current voltage of the battery installed in the sensor module

Runtime [days]

remaining time until the next sensor battery replacement

Flags [ ]

e.g. "Status of the distance" for sensor modules of type "LVL-R-5"

RSSI [dBm]

Radio signal strength between the sensor module and the Jellox Analog

Measurement channel

The following measurement values are determined for the mA input of the Jellox Analog :

scaled measurement value (trimming and offset taken into consideration) in the desired unit (e.g. mm)

Vsens [mV]

sensor supply voltage stored in the configuration at the time of measurement

Sample Count []

number of sample measurements carried out to generate the measurement value

Warmup Time [s]

warmup time stored in the configuration at the time of measurement

Flags []

indicates the status of the mA input

There is a status register with individual flags. Several of these flags can be set simultaneously.

Flags	Status	Explanation
Bit 0 (0x01)	mA input ready	The mA input is ready for operation
Bit 1 (0x02)	Measurement active	A measurement is currently being carried out
Bit 2 (0x04)	Error A/D converter	Error when determining the measurement value
Bit 3 (0x08)	Error sensor supply	Error when activating/setting the sensor supply
