Wall mounting

The following optional accessory sets are required for wall mounting:

  • 1 x Wall bracket for Jellox with protection casing (400109)
  • 1 x Multi band rod antenna with connection cable 250 mm (400110)
  • 1 x Anchor clamp 5,5 - 10,5 mm (301017)
  • 1 x Connection cable 7-pins for sensors 2,8 m (206.602)

Wall mounting step 2

1 Mounting bracket (included in the scope of supply of 400109)
2 Pan head screw with sheet metal screw thread ST6,3x60 Torx 30 (included in the scope of supply of 400109)
3 Multi band rod antenna with connection cable 250 mm (400110)
4 Seal for detecting tampering (optional)
5 Jellox Analog
6 Connection cable 7-pins for sensors 2,8 m (206.602)
7 Anchor clamp 5,5 - 10,5 mm (301017)

  1. Drill the four holes with a diameter of 10 mm and a minimum depth of 60 mm in accordance with the dimensions specified in figure Wall mounting step 1 for the wall plugs (10x50) that are included in the scope of supply of the mounting kit.
  2. Insert a wall plug (included in the scope of supply) into each of the four drilled holes before you screw the mounting bracket (1) to the wall.
  3. Connect the Multi band rod antenna with connection cable 250 mm to the antenna connector of the Jellox Analog .
Tip: Depending on the installation situation, it may be more practical to connect the Multi band rod antenna with connection cable 250 mm after inserting the Jellox Analog into the mounting bracket.

  4. The following two steps are only required if you want to use a sensor with mA ouput:
  5. Push the plastic clamping jaws of the grounding clamp upwards until the resulting gap is large enough to insert the connection cable. Insert the cable and secure it by pushing the plastic clamping jaws back down. On the end of the connector, the cable should protrude at least 40 cm from the plastic clamping jaws to enable convenient connection of theJellox Analog later on.

Inserting the connection cable into the straining clamp

    1 Anchor clamp 5,5 - 10,5 mm 3 Plastic clamping jaws
    2 Connection cable 7-pins for sensors 2,8 m
  6. Attach the straining clamp to the designated holder on the mounting bracket.

    Attaching the straining clamp

1 Anchor clamp 5,5 - 10,5 mm 2 Fitting for the straining clamp
  7. Insert the Jellox Analog into the mounting bracket bottom first. Tilt the Jellox Analog forward (i.e. away from the wall) to position the top of the Jellox Analog underneath the upper brace of the mounting bracket. It is recommended to first connect the connection cable to the sensor connector of the Jellox Analog .

    Inserting the Jellox Analog

1 Jellox Analog 3 Mounting bracket
2 Upper brace of the mounting bracket 4 Connection cable 7-pins for sensors 2,8 m
  8. Press the top of the Jellox Analog towards the wall until the lug of the protective armour is fully engaged in the upper brace of the mounting bracket.
Note: If the connection cable becomes taut when inserting the Jellox Analog into the mounting bracket, briefly loosen the plastic clamping jaws of the anchor clamp to correct this problem. Ensure that the bending radius of the cable loop above the strain relief clamp is no less than 3 cm .

  9. Insert the Multi band rod antenna with connection cable 250 mm into the designated slot in the upper brace of the mounting bracket.

  10. The following step is only required if you want to add an anti-tamper seal.
  11. Pass the sealing wire through the opening in the upper brace of the mounting bracket and through the retaining lug of the protective armour. Form a closed loop and insert both ends of the sealing wire through the seal. Ensure that the sealing wire is tight but not under tension. Secure the seal by pressing it together with sealing pliers. If necessary, document the process in accordance with internal company guidelines.

Caution: Cut the wire ends cleanly to prevent injury.
