Unauthorised use
Note: The following describes the types of use of the device that are not
permitted. This is not a complete list, but rather a list of reasonably foreseeable misuse.
Only the use specified in chapters Intended use, Type of use and Field of application is
permitted. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage or consequential damage resulting
from unauthorised use. The risk is borne solely by the operator.
- The device must not be exposed to direct sunlight or direct weather influences (rain, snow, ...).
- The transmission unit (black housing at the top end of the cable) must not be installed in locations that are permanently flooded.
- The device must not be mounted hanging from the cable. The transmission unit must be mounted using a suitable bracket and the cable to the pressure sensor must be secured using a straining clamp.
- The transmission unit must not be mounted in a perpendicular position. To prevent water droplets from forming and blocking the pressure compensation, it must be mounted at an angle of 45°.
- The connection cable of the pressure sensor must not be bent.
- The bending radius for the connection cable must not be less than 60 mm.
- The device must not be used for level measurement in drinking water.
- The device must not be used for level measurement in blackwater.
- When mounting the pressure sensor using a bracket, do not apply too much pressure to the metal housing. A slight deformation of the housing can affect the pressure measuring cell, especially if the holder is attached to the lower part of the pressure sensor close to the black tip.
